Opportunity Plus Program
An adult development program that prepares challenged individuals with the necessary skills to increase access and participation in the local communities, eventually find and maintain meaningful paid jobs. All employment and training occurs in natural, non-segregated settings in the community, close to the individual's home and neighborhood. Program focus on four major domains: Self-determination, adult/social life skills, mobility and employment. Provide door-to-door transportation, training conducted by bilingual Job Coaches with sensitivity to consumer's gender and needs.
Disabled Access Services Program Provides health education to consumers and their families about the important of healthcare, maintenance, and Western health services. Also, works with healthcare personnel to bridge culture challenges confronted by ethnic minorities when seeking Western healthcare. This program hopes to reduce healthcare disparities among ethnic minority population residing in the Central Valley.
The Language Services Provides language interpreting/translation services in the Southeast Asian languages. Individual Interpreters are highly trained in the medical, social, and legal fields to provide interpreting services for consumers/families.
